Two Brains Centre projects receive NWO KIC fundingThe Brains Centre, part of MESA+ (University of Twente), has acquired significant support for two innovative research proposals within the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC) program of the Dutch Research Council (NWO). The projects Smart Materials for Information Processing (SMIP) and Recycling Enhanced Smart Programmable ON-Demand coatings (RESPOND) were both awarded funding in the recent KIC round focused on smart materials.Read more
UT professor Detlef Lohse appointed Fellow of the Royal SocietyProf. Detlef Lohse, Professor of Fluid Physics at the University of Twente, has been appointed Fellow and Foreign Member of the Royal Society, the UK's national academy of science. He is now one of the few scientists in the Netherlands to hold this title. Robbert Dijkgraaf (University of Amsterdam) was also appointed.Read more
